Douglas County RWD #3 began in January of 1965 in rural Douglas County just west of the Stull area eventually spreading into eastern Shawnee County.  The general area of the district cover approximently a 15 mile square area.  The office moved to its current location at 7035 SE 69th St in 1993 and is centrally located in the district.
